An updated image — La Petite Fleur
Ever get the itch to just modify something a little bit that you've created? Maybe you have a favorite recipe that you decided to add a little something extra to, or a scrapbooking project missing an embellishment. Even a gardener likes to add and move plants in their garden to change how things look. Just creating a different point of view.
Apparently it was time this afternoon to update an image that I photographed a couple of years ago. Like with a lot of things we learn, you learn new techniques or your ideas change.
I already know that some of you will still prefer the old version. That's ok! But my artistic vision for La Petite Fleur was leading me to make it a little different. I'm sharing the old and new. The new version is now on my Barb Kellogg Photography website. I still have a couple printed items of the old version, so those will be available at art fairs until they are gone. If you live out of my area, please inquire for shipping cost.
The Story Behind the Photograph
My dad spotted these teeny tiny flowers in their yard. They are smaller than the diameter of your pinky finger. (The title of the image means small flowers in French.) I'm glad that I had my camera along that weekend that I was visiting them. And thanks to my dad!
