I might be surprising you by introducing you to a home party consultant. For anyone who has done this, you know there is an art to running it well. Sarah does a great job in explaining the business she's a part of, I also give the women I interview a chance to promote their business.

I'd like you to meet Sarah Hensel. When you meet her, you are instantly wowed by her infectious smile. She's very charismatic, which no doubt ensures that the event she's a part of is fun and welcoming to everyone.

What is Scentsy? Thank you for this opportunity to share what Scentsy means to me!

In what way(s) do you think you can make a difference in someone’s life? I have been blessed to participate in a local giving back project. Our team made several blankets to donate to the Anne Marie House, and we had a blast sharing time and stories with each other. I'm looking forward to many more opportunities to give back!
Personally, some of my favorite moments are when I bring a bag of new product with me or hand out a free sample to someone helping me with a service. I see some of the biggest smiles and thank you's! It feels good to make someone's day! I'm not doing much, just sharing a scent or my own excitement. It's really infectious!
Share a great moment you've experienced relating to your business. During the first day of snow this year, I almost cancelled an appointment to avoid the drive. I received a call asking if I could come in early. I decided to put together a bag with the Scentsy Buddies that had just arrived, a few gift bag ideas and wax bars to smell. When I got there, it was like Santa himself had arrived. I saw worry and dismay over the weather turn into cheer and excitement. Amazing what some cuddly friends and great scents can do!
I think most people go into business because they have a passion about what they selling. How did you know Scentsy was the right thing for you to invest your time into? I've tried and thought about other businesses. They were never the right fit for me. I didn't like feeling pushy. I'd rather share something cool that I know others want and enjoy. Scentsy pretty much sells itself. You'll often hear, "It's the smell that sells." So true! I like helping others, sharing good deals, and being a voice of encouragement. My business allows me to do that every day!
What does being an entrepreneur mean to you? To me, being an entrepreneur means providing a product or service that someone else wants or needs, and doing so with passion and integrity.
What would you like to say to others aspiring to pursue their dreams? Follow your dreams! Have a support network in place. People you can learn from, who will cheer you on and are honest. Set smart goals and budgets that can be achieved and measured. Push yourself to surpass your goals. Then, celebrate each victory as your dreams become reality.
What do think the biggest misconception is about you and your business? I would have to say that the biggest misconception about being a Scentsy consultant, especially in St. Cloud, is that there's no more room for another consultant. It's simply not true! Every consultant has their own circle of people they know. There might be some overlap with other consultants, but everyone on your list knows another 100 people and so on. Customers don't have to be local to enjoy all Scentsy has to offer.
The second biggest misconception is that owning a business is hard or too much work. With Scentsy, you decide how much to put in based on what you want to get out of it. This business can be run anywhere! We have mom's who drive there kids to appointments and such and they bring their business with them.
