What do photographers do for fun when they aren't working? A photo walk, of course!
A photo walk is two or more photographers who walk around an area taking photos of whatever catches their eye. It's not for a client. So it's a good way to take the pressure off of having to "get the image". You're doing this just for you!
I met with a great group of gals this past weekend in St Cloud, and we spent a few hours photographing a few spots in the area. Plus a fun dinner afterwards. Gotta have food, right? ;)
Here are a few selections from the images I took. Click the thumbnails to view larger.
What's the point of a photo walk?
It's a fun way for photographers to get together, network, laugh, share stories, and enjoy photographing an area without worrying that the people around you are bored waiting for you to finish shooting.
Want to join me on a photo walk some time? Just let me know!
