To see in color truly is a wondrous experience.
But take all or part of it away, and another world is revealed.
A world full of light and dark. Shape, texture, and lines. Moods and expression.
Let me take you into that world with these images. Some you may not have seen before. Some you've only seen in color.
Images with people suddenly become more about expression, mood, and emotion, instead of the color of someone's tshirt.
Eliminating color from the image of the man sitting alone on the bench helps me to focus your attention. I don't want the viewer to be distracted by the color of the signs across the street. And how interesting that right above him (yet really it's across the street) is the sign for mind, body, and spirit.
But being able to choose to see in both color and b&w, well that's the best of both worlds.
