Two Images Selected for 2018 Exhibit
I really can't believe I've been included for the fourth year in a row in this international exhibit! It sounds so cliche, but it is such an honor, and a double one at that.
This exhibit had a record number of entries this year, and I'm so pumped to have just received notice that TWO were accepted this year!! It's very competitive, and not just photography, but painting, drawing, fiber art, sculpture and more.

I agonized over my photography and what to choose, ultimately choosing six images to enter. You just never know, as each year the juror is different, so there's no guessing what they will choose or what they have in mind when selecting art for the entire exhibit of well over 50 pieces of varied genres of artwork.
Non-traditional point of view
For you photographers out there, remember to look at the less photographed side of things. Whether it's a flower, or popular scenic location. Sometimes the best or most interesting view isn't what everyone else is photographing.
And I think there's a lesson for every day life here, too. Sometimes the obvious choice isn't the best one.
Let's Celebrate with a Sale!
Both images are available in my online Shop in the Flower category. To celebrate, I'm putting these two images on sale through the end of December 2017! (Unfortunately I can't promise delivery prior to Christmas.)
