I'd like your help in growing creatively! I want to announce a sponsorship that I'm offering here for 2017 called FILM FRIEND. I've got a whole page dedicated to this, and you can find it all here—all the details and how to buy. But the short version, you can read a little below.
What is it?
Basically, I'm asking you to be a patron of my art, to be a supporter. I know that many people don't have the wall space, or might not have the money, to buy a print or one of my images on canvas. But for $45 or less, you get a window into my creativity (by receiving 36 small, unedited prints—the number of frames on a roll of film), and I get help with paying for the costs associated with photographing with film (film, developing, mailing costs). I want to expand my creative repertoire to include the nuance of film. I'm very enamored with it right now and want to pursue where my muse is insisting I go! And you can help.
Why Am I Doing This?
If you love playing records (I mean real vinyl records on a turntable), or you prefer reading a paper book instead of an e-book, then you'll understand that while a record is still music, and a paper book is still something you read, the whole experience of placing the record on a turntable and gently setting the needle in the groove, or turning a book page by page is a TOTALLY different sensory and tactile experience than their digital counterparts.
If you relate to that, then you get why I want to add photographing with film to my creative toolbox. It's not better. Just different.
How Does it Work?
You sponsor a roll (or rolls) of color and/or black and white film. You can indicate subject preferences (like florals, nature, abstract, etc at checkout) and I'll do my best to accommodate that. Not every image will likely be the same subject matter on the roll, nor will every image be stellar. Creativity is a process. And you'll get a peak into mine.
That part that likely feels a little uncomfortable to you is that it might take weeks or months before I fulfill your film sponsorship. I originally offered 25 sponsorships, and most of the b&w whites are gone as of this writing. (Right now I still have plenty of color film sponsorships.) I put you on a list, indicate whether you wanted color or b&w and your subject preferences. As the months go by, I'll have various opportunities to go out and photograph with film. Many people love my flower photography, and to do it now, in February, inside the house with store bought flowers, just isn't the same as shooting in someone's garden. I find that the majority of my shooting takes place in late spring, summer, and fall.
I want to create beautiful images—for you and myself—and sometimes I (and you) have to wait for that right opportunity.
I encourage you to read my Testimonials page to give you a feel for how people feel about me and my work. And I'm happy to answer any pre-purchase questions you would have.

Thank you for your support!
