"Happy-go-lucky" – Expressing the optimism he feels of his mental illness today, Joel really does feel like his life is sunny with soft fluffy clouds. The What Mental Illness Feels Like project has been a year-plus long photography project for me exploring what mental illness feels like to others. This is one of thirteen original photographs created for this project.
